Start with the word
Searching for an AI agency usually means one thing: you want someone else to do the technical part. Dean Keating does that, but he is not an agency. He is one AI automation consultant, and he says so up front so that you can choose with the right picture in your head.
An agency, as most people use the word, is an organisation with departments that can take on a long list of projects at once: campaigns, websites, large systems. If you need several of those together, or a big project with many moving parts, an agency may suit you better. Ask each one who actually does the work on your project.
What he does instead
He builds AI agents, installs them in the tools your business already uses, trains your staff and supports the setup afterwards. His website calls it installed for you, not handed over. It starts with a free call, then an audit of the work worth automating, then the build and install, then training and support. He begins with the single task that would make the most difference, and you leave the call with a plan you can use with or without him.
The jobs his website lists include replying to new enquiries within minutes, following up each lead, sending and chasing quotes, booking into the diary and answering common questions across email, web and WhatsApp.
A fish and chip shop, to make it concrete
This directory lists 16 fish and chip shops: 4 in Grays, 4 in Corringham, 3 in Tilbury and the rest elsewhere in the borough, counted on 10 October 2026. See the fish and chips category. Picture one of them on a Friday evening, with the owner at the fryer and a message arriving to ask whether a large order can be ready for a club on Saturday.
A big agency engagement is more than that shop needs. A single installed agent that answers that kind of question, passes the unusual ones to the owner and sends a confirmation is the right size. It also suits the shop that has never had a website developer.
Questions to put to any provider
- Who will be doing the work, and will I speak to them?
- Will it be built inside the email, website and WhatsApp I already use?
- Who trains my staff and who do I call when something stops?
- What do I keep if I stop after the first meeting?
Where he is based
