• takes a booking request or a catering enquiry and passes it on in a tidy form;
• sends a confirmation and a reminder;
• hands off complaints, allergy questions and anything unusual to you.

The last line matters. An assistant is only worth having if it knows where its job stops.

What it is not

It is not a chatbot product you subscribe to and set up, and it is not a phone-answering service. It is installed for you inside tools you already use.
